Art on the Square Returns to Downtown Delray

Step into a weekend where creativity takes center stage. Art on the Square is a premier, juried outdoor fine art show presented by the Cornell Art Museum, transforming the historic grounds of Old School Square into an open-air gallery filled with color, inspiration, and unforgettable talent.

Set in the heart of Downtown Delray Beach, this two-day celebration invites visitors to stroll the museum lawn and discover original works from approximately 50+ juried artists from around the country. Meet the makers behind the masterpieces, explore an incredible variety of fine art, and take home something truly one-of-a-kind.

As you wander beneath the palms and through the charming pathways of Old School Square, enjoy live music all weekend and experience art in motion through live painting demonstrations by muralists and Urban Sketchers.

Art on the Square is designed for art lovers of every age, featuring a lively Kids Zone with interactive activities, face painting, plus participation from local creative organizations like Art Connect, Creative Art School, and Urban Sketchers. The show also proudly supports rising talent through its Emerging Artist Program, providing a free tent and full show experience to a selected new artist.

With FREE admission to both the art show and the Cornell Art Museum, Art on the Square is more than an event; it’s a vibrant community experience that brings thousands of visitors to Downtown Delray Beach. Make it a weekend and enjoy the dining and fun Downtown has to offer.

Come for the art, stay for the atmosphere, and leave inspired.

Sabrina McCranels is an artist from Lake Worth Beach and a recent graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a BFA in Studio Arts. Working primarily in oil paint on unconventional surfaces, her practice explores the emotional complexities of both interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships. Through themes of permanence and impermanence, manipulation and transparency, her work bridges the physical and metaphysical—serving as a meditation on the unseen forces that shape human connection and inviting viewers into moments of reflection, intimacy, and reconnection.

Bohdi + Sky are brothers (ages 7 and 9) from South Florida who create art to explore the world around them and express how they feel. Working side by side, they turn their ideas, moods, and imaginations into vibrant abstract pieces that reflect curiosity, play, and discovery. Inspired by nature, space, color, and everyday moments—from stones and galaxies to music and movies—their work celebrates freedom, movement, and trusting the creative process. Through sharing their art with the community, Bodhi and Sky have discovered how creativity can spark connection and invite everyone to find their own meaning in the work.
