A Celebration of Creativity, Culture and Community
Creative Arts & Culture Fest
Celebrate creativity, culture and community at the FREE Creative Arts & Culture Fest. Hosted by the Creative Arts School, this annual festival transforms every classroom into a unique artistic experience filled with live demonstrations, interactive activities and family-friendly fun.
Explore hands-on experiences presented by local arts and cultural organizations, including Arts Garage, Arts Warehouse, the Cornell Art Museum, the Delray Beach Historical Society, the Delray Beach Public Library, the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum and Visual Adjectives.
From live painting, culinary and ceramic demonstrations to storytimes, artist tours and a free ice cream truck, there is something for all ages to discover and enjoy.
Create with the Cornell Art Museum
The Cornell Art Museum invites guests to explore their creativity through two collaborative art activities, a small artist showcase and a table featuring information about upcoming museum exhibitions, programs and events.
At the Community Canvas, participants can add a drawing to a shared mural inspired by the prompt: Draw something that represents you.
At the Community Voices station, guests will use ink and watercolor techniques to create miniature works of art on 3-inch watercolor paper squares. Each participant will respond to the question, What is art to you? through a word, symbol or small drawing. Throughout the event, the individual pieces will be added to a growing patchwork mural—a collective portrait created from many unique voices.
Come experience the arts, try something new and add your creativity to the community.
