RESCHEDULED: New Exhibition Opening: “Hot Glass” at Cornell Art Museum
The Cornell Art Museum is excited to present the ‘Hot Glass’ exhibition in collaboration with Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts. Artists from both coasts of Florida, as well as national and international glass artists will be highlighted in three galleries and the museum atrium. A special feature of the exhibition will showcase artists from the Netflix glassblowing competition “Blown Away”.
Special events, art talks and glass art demonstrations by notable glass artists are planned at both Cornell Art Museum and Benzaiten Center during the run of the exhibition.
The “Hot Glass” exhibition is co-curated by Marusca Gatto, Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority Cultural Arts Director and Eli Cecil, Creative Director of Benzaiten Center.
“The Cornell Art Museum is excited to bring together contemporary glass artists who utilize the fine art of glass making to tell a story and reflect their vision. Visitors from around the country and the Palm Beach County community are invited to look into the depths of the artwork and explore its many facets and hidden reflections,” said Marusca Gatto, Cultural Arts Director.
The opening reception will be Saturday, October 19th from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Enjoy live music, refreshments and glass demonstrations.
Exhibition will remain on view through March 2, 2025
