A World of Color Comes to the Cornell
Bold color. Global inspiration. Endless natural beauty.
This fall, the Cornell Art Museum at Old School Square welcomes internationally exhibited artist Marleen De Waele–De Bock for Blooming in Color!, a Spotlight Feature Exhibition running October 1, 2026, through January 24, 2027.
Inspired by the natural surroundings she encountered while living across three continents and four countries, De Waele–De Bock creates expressive, nature-inspired works alive with color, texture and movement. Her paintings invite viewers to slow down, look closer and experience the beauty of the natural world through a bold, emotional lens.
