Take a break in the middle of your day to connect with community, quiet your mind and move your body with these FREE healing classes at the Square.

Tai Chi & Qigong class led by Master Instructor Gary Tong

This week, Master Instructor Gary Tong will help you balance the mind, body and soul by leading us in a Tai Chi & Qigong class. Since the museum is closed to install the new exhibitions, we will meet behind the museum in the loggia area. This class will be outdoors under the loggia.

Tai Chi is an exercise that follows natural movements and principles of nature. The movements are slow & relax with focus, concentration, and breath. Qigong or Chi Kung is the art and science of cultivating and manipulating one’s vital life force energy with the intention for healing, strength, and spiritual awakening.

Through daily practice of Tai Chi and Qigong, one will learn and develop patience, calmness, relaxation, better balance, breathe better, focus, concentration, and overall well-being.

Tai Chi is the most effective balance and coordination exercise in the world.

Registration is required. Space is limited. These classes fill up quickly, so please REGISTER HERE, and water and arrive a few minutes early to check-in at the Cornell Art Museum.

These classes are presented by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority and the City of Delray Beach.
