Reimagining Palm Beach - Panel Presentation Event

Cornell Art Museum presents a panel presentation in celebration of Women’s History Month on Thursday, March 7th,  7pm.  Learn Artist Serge Strosberg’s vision and process for painting the “Reimagining Palm Beach” collection. Serge, Charlene Farrington, Executive Director of The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, Inc. and Rick Rose, writer, tour guide and lecturer, will share stories of the Florida Visionary portraits highlighting the women in the portraits.

WHO:        

      • Charlene FarringtonExecutive Director of The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, Inc., a Florida non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and share Black history. Charlene will share stories about Solomon David Spady, Delray Beach visionary leader in the African American community.

      • Rick Rose, Writer, Local Historian and Lecturer: Presenting colorful anecdotes and commentary, of the origins and character of Palm Beach, its unique architecture, the historical significance of the legendary landmarks and some of its famous residents.

      • Serge Strosberg, Artist:   Presenting his vision and his process for painting “Reimagining Palm Beach” collection of Florida Visionary portraits and historic stories about each one.

Moderated by Debby Coles-Dobay, Art Moves You and Marusca Gatto, Cultural Art Director.
