Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts

The Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts is named for the Japanese Goddess who represents all things flowing i.e., love, knowledge, music, the river and in Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts, hot molten glass and bronze.

The vision of artist and entrepreneur, JB Berkow, Benzaiten’s mission is to encourage young, emerging artists and established artists to continue living and working in South Florida.

The Benzaiten Center supports artists’ efforts to create glass and metal fine art sculptures in a world-class fabrication center by providing them with extremely reasonable studio rental costs along with a gallery for showing their work in an artistic seaside community.

Through the support of civic, social and key business leaders along with the City of Lake Worth Beach and Lake Worth CRA, Benzaiten has become a part of the Lake Worth Arts District revitalization.  Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts regularly hosts visiting glass masters, workshops, classes and is home to many career glass artists. They offer memberships and gratefully accept donations.
