
Mirror Mirror:
Celebrating Women in the Arts
The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is proud to present the Cornell Art Museum’s new exhibition, “Mirror, Mirror: Celebrating Women in the Arts,” an all-female exhibition featuring regional artists who explore universal reflections of womanhood and their experiences through stunning art.
The exhibition features 63 artists and their works of art highlighting different mediums: paintings, ceramic sculptures, bronze and metal sculptures, found object art, glass, photography, fiber art and more. Also, take selfies in front of the large floral installation.
Celebrating Visionary Women Artists: 'Mirror, Mirror' Award Recipients
The "Mirror, Mirror: Celebrating Women in the Arts" exhibition proudly showcased the work of 63 talented artists, selected from a wide array of online submissions. At the opening reception, guest judge Louise Irvine, Executive Director of the Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts in Hollywood, Florida, honored four exceptional artists with cash prizes.
First Place was awarded to Laura Tan for her evocative work 3 Sheets.
Second Place went to Minakshi De for her powerful piece Captive 2.
Third Place was awarded to Angela Bulich for her intricate creation Tapestry.
Eileen Shaloum received Honorable Mention for her reflective work Reflection.
