Opening July 5, 2025 at the Cornell Art Museum, this Pop Culture exhibition invites you to hit "play" on a nostalgia trip—think Pac-Man mazes, Furby, and candy-colored daydreams. Taking over the lower galleries through September 28, this free (donations welcome) exhibition is packed with punchy colors, playful vibes, and retro cool, featuring:
Gwak – Sarasota artist whose work zips like a Pac-Man ghost chase through playful, unconventional themes.
Ashleigh Walters – Palm Beach County creative known for sculptural works as bold and bright as an '80s arcade.
Annina Rüst – Jupiter-based tech artist merging old-school pixels with futuristic media art.
Rogerio Peixoto – South Florida’s master of mirror art and pop painting, channeling the shiny, candy-colored spirit of arcade nostalgia.
