First Friday Art Walk at the Cornell

  • Cornell Art Museum 51 North Swinton Avenue Delray Beach, FL, 33444 United States (map)

Start your First Friday Art Walk at the Cornell Art Museum!

This month, First Friday Art Walk shines a spotlight on the next generation of creative leaders with the 6th Annual Multicultural Youth Arts Festival (MYAF) — a high-energy, community-centered celebration of culture, creativity, and youth expression across the Old School Square campus.

Inside the Cornell Art Museum

Begin your evening at the Cornell Art Museum and the opening of the Multicultural Youth Exhibition, where the Spotlight Gallery will showcase a vibrant collection of artwork from elementary, middle, and high school students across South Florida. Regional art professionals will award First, Second, and Third Place honors at each grade level.

While you’re there, experience the museum’s newest exhibition, “The Art of Her,” and explore current exhibitions, including:

Icons of Art: Italian Mosaic Portraits

Dorothy Gillespie: Retrospective — Color in Motion

Admission to the Cornell Art Museum is always free (donations warmly welcomed).

Live at the Amphitheatre

Then head outdoors to the Old School Square Amphitheatre, where the festival comes alive with live music, dance performances, fashion showcases, and youth entrepreneur vendors — all presented on a professional stage in the heart of Downtown Delray.

Through visual arts, music, dance, fashion, and creative business showcases, MYAF highlights the power of culture as a pathway to leadership, self-esteem, and community connection.

This First Friday isn’t just an art walk — it’s a full-campus celebration of culture, creativity, and the incredible talent of South Florida’s youth.

Afterward, stroll through downtown galleries, meet artists, and enjoy live music and refreshments. It will be a night of art, community, and fun for all ages.
